Optimisme weer even terug in Nederland

Amsterdam, 30 november 2009 - TEDx Amsterdam was een succes. Op de topconferentie die 20 november plaatsvond in het Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen kwamen 600 opinieleiders opdagen. Vanwege alle belangstelling werden de presentaties via een live videoverbinding vertoond op uiteindelijk dertig kleine en grotere locaties in Nederland. Last Friday I enjoyed TEDxAmsterdam from Pakhuis De Zwijger, where a simulcast, a parallel programme with separate speakers, live mind mappers & a tv crew from the Dutch news was present. As a mind mapping enthusiast I made my own mind maps of the speakers. What follows originally started as an email to my father alerting him to the blog link of Russian Cosmonaut, Maksim Suraev. My dad learned Russian many years ago for no particular reason. ...took all of yesterday. The voice of tedx had nothing sensible to say. 12 hours of inspiring and innovative talks turns out to be exhausting the day after. Towards the evening my personal highlights started to pass from my lips to my lover's ears.

The day itself I was ready for anything and hyped from the get go not knowing what remnants would remain the next day.
